Winter Shadows I is a reduction print, where each color layer was carved out from a single block, creating a limited edition series of 11 prints. Each print is numbered, titled, and signed on the front. Prints are shipped with a backing board and cellophane sleeve for protection.
Experience the hush of walking in new fallen snow on a winter’s evening. This print came about after a particularly beautiful evening walk in the White Mountains National Forest in New Hampshire. Blue shadows from the tree trunks stretched across fresh fluffy snow with no sounds but our footsteps. I love the depth of this print, how it draws you deeper into the woods, just like in real life.
